Announcing details of the 2009 Autoglym Motor Club Quiz
We are pleased to announce details of the 2009 Autoglym Motor Club Quiz.
Here is a chance for UK motor club enthusiasts to pitch their knowledge against other motor clubs in a nationwide Motor Clubs Quiz, which will be held, here on this website, in the autumn of 2008. In the meantime ‘polish up’ on all your motoring information.
Hundreds of UK recognised clubs are expected to take part in the competition, which proved very popular when it was launched last year. |

Only one attempt per club will be possible using password access and clubs can pre-register for their free entry, in advance, between 1st October and 30th November 2008.
The on-line quiz will go live on 1st December 2008 and will run through to 31st December 2008. After this, the four highest-placed club teams will be invited to attend a ‘live’ Finals Day, which will be held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, on Saturday 17th January 2009. Three contestants will represent each club in this live event.

During the on-line stage of the quiz, each Club will have only one attempt to answer questions - which will be selected randomly from a vast database of questions - in a limited time of 20 minutes.
Questions will be asked on motor racing, rallying, other forms of motorsport, modern motor cars, classic cars and classic motoring, motoring history, and current motoring conditions.
Not only will success in this Quiz bring great prestige to the finalists , but big cash prizes too. These will be presented at Finals Day on 17th January 2009.
** The winning club will receive £2,000
** The losing club in the Final will receive £1,000
** The two losing clubs in the Semi-Finals will each receive £500.
