Equipment
- Dilution Controller – A wall mounted unit which is connected to mains water. Detergent is mixed with water at a pre-set dilution rate and provides a “ready to use” mixture of diluted detergent.
- Foam Generator – A wall mounted unit which is connected to a compressed air supply and pressure washer facility. Water, air and detergent, are blended at a pre-set dilution to create foam which is applied via a separate lance and hose.
- Automatic Foam Arch - This equipment will normally be situated in front of a brush wash. A magic eye is activated by vehicle movement which initiates foam arch operation. A pre-set dilution of detergent in foam form is sprayed on to bus from multi-angled jets incorporated in the arch. The bus is driven slowly to ensure an accurate coating of detergent is applied. The multi-angle jets ensure front and rear of vehicle is cleaned as well as the sides.
- Automatic Wheel Wash – This equipment will normally be situated in front of a brush wash. A magic eye is activated by vehicle movement which initiates the operation. A pre-set dilution of detergent is sprayed at high pressure on to the vehicle’s skirts and wheels.
- Water Fed Brush System - Ideal for deep cleans and spot cleaning of areas which are missed by a brush wash ie. vehicle backs/filler caps/door apertures. This is a wall mounted unit which is connected to a pressure washer facility and provides a pre-set dilution of detergent through a brush head.
- Electric Booster Pump - For use when a dilution controller is installed on to a hot water supply. This pump will ensure adequate water pressure is achieved in order to deliver an accurate dilution of detergent.
- Bus Wash Treatment Dosing Pump - Used in conjunction with “Water Wizard”, this pump will ensure a consistent measure of product is dosed into reclamation systems at regular intervals.
- Chassis Foam Bar - Ideally situated in a channel preceding a chassis pit or chassis-jet machine, this will ensure an even coating of foamed detergent is applied to the underside of the vehicle by simply driving over the upward spray at a walking pace.
- Ancillaries - Autoglym can also supply a range of quality tools to help the operative achieve a quality finish including Microfibre cloths, Aqua Dry synthetic leathers, sponges and chewing gum scrapers.
