What Autoglym compounds are compatible?
From our retail range we recommend Autoglym Advanced Paint Restorer or from our Professional range, Rapid Renovator or Rapid Renovator Plus are compatible.
Can I use your new Paint Reviver product with this pad?
No, Paint Reviver is a different and lighter formula. We recommend hand application only using our Precision Applicator.
Should I prime this pad before use?
Yes, this is good practice. Apply some compound onto the pad surface and work it into the foam, ensuring the full diameter of the pad is covered. Be careful not to prime with too much product to avoid the risk of "fling" when the machine is in operation.
My machine is a rotary type, can I use this pad?
Yes you can but be aware that rotary polishing typically requires more careful use of speed and pressure to achieve good results and avoid marring paintwork.
How do I care for this Machine Pad?
Do not leave in direct sunlight. Wash immediately after use with clean warm water and allow to air dry.
How long should this Machine Pad last?
There are a lot of factors which affect durability like compound and machine type, pressure & speed used as well as paintwork condition. However, with proper cleaning after use, typical users should be able to use it a min of 50 times.
