For those that know your rallying and rallying history, this is an important vehicle. For those of you that don't, this is a red car with an Autoglym logo on it...
The informed among you will immediately recognise this as a Triumph 1977 TR7 V8 rally car, prepared in the style of legendary rally driver Tony Pond. These stunning cars are built as exact copies of the last works cars with brand new engines, gearboxes, axles amongst nearly every part having to been reverse engineered, manufactured and fitted to the immaculate bodyshells. Expertly built by David Appleby Engineering, this box-fresh example was piloted by a leading British driver, Chris Ingram in the Roger Albert Clark Rally. The chaps at DAE have been using Autoglym products in their business for many years now, on a whole variety of cars including the Invictus Games Racing Team fleets and on their clients Aston Martin modified road cars.
With a comprehensive range of detergents, shampoos, de-greasers and glass cleaners, Autoglym are the perfect partner for any rally team. As one of the motorsports that guarantees a dirty car, and plenty of mechanical breakages, teams need fast acting cleaners to ensure they can clean, repair and re-enter the rally all within a strict time frame.
